Electrical distribution companies want us to pay electric bill tariffs for building  access Northeast pipelines. The pipeline companies justify these new systems with “peak demand” (at most, 30 days per year). The Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (DPU) oversees and regulates these companies, and it is weighing citizen input through written comments and public hearings. If you don’t want to pay to construct dangerous, unnecessary, and environmentally irresponsible new gas pipelines, now is your opportunity to voice your opinion. See our DPU page.

We meet on the first and third Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM at the First Universalist Society in Franklin, 262 Chestnut Street, Franklin, MA
